The British Welfare State model is not the way forward for the South of Ireland,be well advised. It is not suited to the conditions of a state founded one hundred years ago today,a country which lacks the rudiments of lawful government. My criticism of Britain and its NHS focusses largely on contrived welfare dependence, not, truthfully,the public health service or the Labour Party of England and Wales or Scotland. It is clear to trade unionists that a good few British welfare claimants should be sent to work in the remaining factories,the large farms and thriving businesses,not gather dust in an environment not created for human fulfilment or peaceful enjoyment of leisure and education..
