Ruairi O Bradaigh

O Bradaigh, the first President of the Provisional party did not have much to commend him-he was a bloodthirsty maniac-but he put the Blueshirts out of Roscommon because he knew who they were and where they lived and all about their activities with both male and female prostitutes and the clergy who put them up to their foolish activities. However, when he died his mad Doomsday scenario plans soon unravelled and the stockpiles of guns were sold off. He was never anything other than De Valera's legman and the Irish Army's agent along the Border.

Elections in the South of Ireland

There is a clear choice between a party which has fallen into the lap of American imperialism and a party with a clear, verifiable, documented history of solid political achievement. The choice is between the political whimsies and half-baked rhetoric of Sinn Fein and the party of social progress and political balance of Fianna Fail. We all have our differences with our political parties but vote if you are in the broad categories of constitutional democrat or Labour.

Bertie the blether. Kicking the ball further down the field....

Spare us,Shannonside/Northern Sound, that abnoxious bully talking about the upcoming Irish Unity Referendum and his wicked efforts to postpone the inevitable for another ten years. He is a Free Stater. In association with Blair he engineered the iniquitous Belfast Agreement which established the reign of police-medical terror and destroyed the working life for Northerners. Thousands are dead because of the activities of doctors, police and nurses and soldiers in Northern Ireland primarily at his instigation. He and his own so-called achievements were the work of others. He sees himself like any other wordy Narcissus in his own reflection. Let us have our referendum now and forget about the Stormont Assembly and finally free ourselves from our connection to the Irish and British Army and,in my case, the Declaration which I made in August 1982 and tried to repudiate many times. Let me and others take our bearings and be allowed to get on with our lives. There is no glory in the deaths...

"If I could count all the blessings the Lord's done for me...". ...

All of them came from the British Welfare  State and the Irish Catholic Church not the ghetto  police of Sinn Fein or the  DUP or Orange Order or a hash such as Gerry Adams. L. S. was never properly sworn into the IRA because he was a rightist and the IRA didn't tolerate that variety of spoofer nor Gerry Adams for long in any position of authority..... I was properly sworn in,Mimi Mc Girl being the second witness. In Ireland, all men such as Martin Donnelly -and Gilbert Tunney who financed his activities on behalf of the British and Irish Governments, unbeknownst to either of them-were never taken seriously by intelligent people in matters relating to their political standing.  However, they eventually made a better fist of things than I did.  That pair's response to public and clerical invective was to instigate death on the roads for their enemies and for those who dared to suggest to them that they should be sent out "for a packet of brains" but they were...

Some advice so PAY ATTENTION and turn off the television and radio

"TURN OFF THAT SHITE on the radio about politics and politicians BECAUSE I'M NOT INTERESTED ANY MORE. " Sinn Fein are on big salaries for talking NONSENSE and GETTING TRAMPS AND GUTTERSNIPES to do their dirty work for them because that's how people like them live...." Turn the news on at five o' clock here or at six o'clock in the South if you want to hear the REAL NEWS and what really happened or is IN ANY WAY IMPORTANT. Only haelions listen to talk radio or television current affairs broadcasts and what are called media magazine programmes on TV or radio (and worse again, with a contemporary relevance, podcasts). Satt, giovanissime e giovanni?

Solace, comfort and support -the proposal for Community Mental Health Teams in the South

The measure of a civilised society is how it looks after the poor while protecting the wider public from the waste associated in some people's minds with socialised medicine. The latter is particularly important to the small farmer and middle  class in Ireland because he rejects paying tax for moonshine. (For a multitude of largely historical reasons, let the 'hungry' farmer be told to keep his distance from normal political affairs and public discourse. When the farmer does not,he speaks with the voice of Mob). The proposal,Southern-style,for Community Mental Health Teams to be established in all areas should be rolled out with definite protections for instances of corporate defamation. (Recent experience of difficulty for myself which is so evident to those around me but to which I am often so blind, has changed my mind.) The bigger scenario  I propose a Grand Coalition of Fianna Fail,Labour,Social Democrats and Independents to lay the basis for a free healthcare system ...
