 There are other forms of justice than retributive justice and police measures. There are civil determinations and social justice.  Medicines should never be completely free but it is best if only a token amount of €1 was charged to dissuade waste and superfluous visits to doctors and needless consultations with medical personnel. However,it is desirable that everyone,not just the publicly insured, should have ready access to medicine for a token fee. Pharmacies? Community pharmacies with sole proprietors only should be licensed to prevent profiteering from human suffering and needless interventions by multi-millionaire pharmaceutical monopolies. Pharmacy is after all a personal relationship,not a commercial enterprise.

The dire need for public housing in the South is not just a need for improvement in the lives of the low-paid and unemployed,it is a need for a change of direction in government policy in the South.
