Public libraries. Rural ignorance and mobile libraries...the nub of the problem with gasbags..

 The lack of modern library services outside Dublin and the North and the lack of mobile libraries until recent years points to a lack of joined-up political thinking,proper moral training, real civil development and a country's history marked by intellectual undernourishment. A gombeen class produced this phenomenon in the South, something Southern Protestants can see better than anyone.

Irish economic underdevelopment brought about by a history of colonialism, conservative central banking practices,Fine Gael politicians and the influence of farmers,big and small.

The labour standard is to put workers and the poor first and tell whingeing farmers and screeching women like Moira Drumm and Michelle O Neill and Bairbre de Bruin,"Shut your beak!"

The role of politics,people who appear only at election times?

Pay no heed to the GOMBEEN,the FARMER, the missionary-preacher or bigot from a loyalist 'party'.

Tell them,"Give over your speeches. I don't want to hear from you! I don't want my child taking the emigrant boat to England,Scotland or America or even further afield. Those countries can't even look after their own poor. Thank God for the BBC and RTE. Go away and hang yourself."

Why a firm rebuff to sectarian politicians?

The latter type of gombeen is a politician by choice,not the social necessity to get results. He will only appear at election time because he or she does nothing for anybody.Foremost amongst political opportunists and bluffers are  johnny-come-latelys to democratic standards of civil policing. Most of them in government circles were playing both ends off against the middle, helping both sides in our recent conflict.

Nationalism and dictatorship vs. socialism and realism

Irish,German, Russian,Italian and American nationalism are remarkably similar though with a different emphasis. German nationalism is distinguished by supremacist notions formed between 1847 and 1883. American nationalism with its disastrous imperialist outworkings is only now being overcome. Irish nationalism is tinged with a definite  unity of belief in faith and Irish Unity. Italian nationalism is characterised by Mother Love (because very few Italians remain faithful to their spouses for long). In Italy nationalism is also marked by rebel song. .... A tout is a weak and pathetic sort of fool who ends up drinking himself to death. He is a fickle sort of creature,a straw in the wind who like the biblical Jew is a wanderer between sky and cloud. However,he can be dangerous so here are my reflections from a lifetime of experience and untoward advances by these pricks..... A spy or false witness usually acts on his own volition and is interested,inter alia, in  what you listen to on the radio or watch on television. He is a sociopath who likes to alter outcomes and he gets money from the police for telling them such information.The police have the power to influence broadcasting content and schedules. It's MONEY which motivates the hound most.  Sometimes,a country  informer operates remotely by telephoning or through a neighbour but he will stop visiting and calling if you DO NOT ANSWER THE TELEPHONE... Say "Skat!" Sometimes, he may arrive at your door the next day to tell you that he was "concerned" about you. ...
