 The illusion of an IRA 'victory' in 1997 was brought on by idiots in Belfast Sinn Fein. They were anxious to make a name for themselves as Britain's nemesis.

The appearance of a victory was inspired by publicists such as Adams and others,not least of his hangmen being Morrison through dictates in An Phoblacht/ Republican News to take to the streets. That pronunciamento led to quixotic scenes on the streets of Belfast when a final ceasefire was declared.

The IRA as with any other insurgent, underground organisation can never claim complete success and it eventually  goes the way of all revolutionary movements into the political camp and compromises on its most deeply held demands.

Most people who have been to America say wolves eat dead flesh including human flesh. You can compare policemen to wolves or an other form of carrion,vultures.
