Go-betweens,not partisans

 Where you get a lot of alcohol being sold or,in the North,a well-attended church you have police rule or an Orange lodge bringing billy-boy bands in to disrupt civil peace because local Protestant businesses are losing trade to Catholic shopowners hand-over fist. That is the general rule but the social elites and penniless fools have other means of bending the knee to the English Crown,so here goes for a study of intermediaries between citizen and state.......

 The illusion of an IRA 'victory' in 1997 was brought on by idiots in Belfast Sinn Fein. They were anxious to make a name for themselves as Britain's nemesis.

The illusion of a victory was hoisted on nationalists by publicists such as Adams and others,not least of his hangmen being Morrison through dictates in An Phoblacht/ Republican News to take to the streets. That pronunciamento led to quixotic scenes on the streets of Belfast when a final ceasefire was declared.

The IRA as with any other insurgent, underground organisation can never claim complete success and it eventually  goes the way of all revolutionary movements into the political camp and compromises on its most deeply held demands.

The Belfast Provos? Independent spirits?

As Marx said of the Wallachian boyars of the Danube Valley who introduced wage labour in modern times (Capital,Vols 1-3),"The Jews lived in the interstices of society".

We locate political organisations such as the IRA and those 'ordinary decent criminals', the  Dublin poor and German Ratbags (Spitzeln) in the place of police dealings with the public. 

Revolutionary organisations claim that they endeavour to create a utopia. The republicans'  reality falls far short of their lofty utopian ideals because they take their cues from women and 'rebel' priests.

Who are the equivalent of these self-seeking intermediaries across the narrow sea-crossing?

The equal of these people who serve a purely selfish interest are grandstanding female MI5 agents and the pariahs of Europe, British based agents of the National Security Agency. We count amongst the type those of ill-renown,silly women who try to play a man at a man's game and end up getting up one another's nose.

British Army and Sinn Fein telephone impersonators in the call centres.

Stick to knitting,ladies of leisure answering your phones in tiny apartments and rented accommodation. You often find yourselves having to move out in a hurry. We can thank the Lincolnshire Constabulary for that fact. It's a great pity that they don't eject independent social workers and police call-handlers here.
