Rent controls. Fair Rents Tribunals. Evictions

Since living in England,I have been a long-standing proponent of rent controls and restrictions on evictions. Need, before greed. The post-war British model of not only Fair Rents Officers but legal prohibitions on eviction were removed by that evil,sick woman, Thatcher. She cuckolded England and its people with a breed of blood-sucking financial speculators and estate agents and market traders. Hers were unlearned ideas for a society of maggots and delinquents and financial parasites. We see this tawdry legacy and its loose-living at work even today. An Irish Welfare State. Pharmacy services and free availability of medicines

 Medicines should never be completely free but it is best if only a token amount of €1 was charged to dissuade waste and superfluous visits to doctors and needless consultations with medical personnel. However,it is desirable that everyone,not just the publicly insured, should have ready access to medicine for a token fee. Pharmacies? Community pharmacies with sole proprietors only should be licensed to prevent profiteering from human suffering and needless interventions by multi-millionaire pharmaceutical monopolies. Pharmacy is after all a personal relationship,not a commercial enterprise.
