Taxation in Ireland

 Given that the South will soon bear the heavy financial and political burdens of unification,is it not time to look ahead to the immediate future.

Basic welfare costs, education needs and health requirements must be funded.

Let the Southerners encamp themselves in social security offices and quickly derail the runaway train of welfare dependence.

The biggest challenge for unifiers is the health service. People in the North have different expectations and many are ensnared by the tyranny of maladjusted doctors and by chronic need for solace which conceals real social immobility.

This raises the question of financing basic social infrastructure.

We must think in terms of five levels of (non) taxation on income and salaries with the basic proviso that those who can pay more,should pay more.

Let us examine the related question of whether the South's prosperity is material or unreal before subjecting tech giants to prohibitively high levels of corporate taxation. Let us build on reality not fashionable Sinn Fein rhetoric copied from RTE reportage which leads nowhere.

The old bug-bear emerges,how should taxation be levied...

...Preferably,directly but agricultural land speculation and rampant housing price rises are clear indicators that we are being sucked into a vortex of world finance based not in the Arab world or Asia,but rather in the US and Canada to act as collateral on non-performing assets in US and Canadian bonds.

Those two countries are at the heart of the developing tsunami of political collapse which has progressively undermined the global economic system since the 1970's.

Nationalism and dictatorship vs. socialism and realism

Irish,German, Russian,Italian and American nationalism are remarkably similar though with a different emphasis. German nationalism is distinguished by supremacist notions formed between 1847 and 1883. American nationalism with its disastrous imperialist outworkings is only now being overcome. A tout is a weak and pathetic sort of fool who ends up drinking himself to death. He is a fickle sort of creature,a straw in the wind who like the biblical Jew is a wanderer between sky and cloud. However,he can be dangerous so here are my reflections from a lifetime of experience and untoward advances by these pricks..... A spy or false witness usually acts on his own volition and is interested,inter alia, in  what you listen to on the radio or watch on television. He is a sociopath who likes to alter outcomes and he gets money from the police for telling them such information.The police have the power to influence broadcasting content and schedules. It's MONEY which motivates the hound most.  Sometimes,a country  informer operates remotely by telephoning or through a neighbour but he will stop visiting and calling if you DO NOT ANSWER THE TELEPHONE...
