You have heard the Hierarchy's pleas for peace and tolerance and respect for other creeds and nationalities until at least a decision is taken in the Dail with a two-thirds majority for a referendum on Irish Unity. In the meantime,the thinking man's money is on the police and Gardai breaking up fights and 'coming out on top of you'.

Pay heed,pilgrims who take no interest in party politics!

Tell the police what you know but only if you are sure of your facts and stop indulging people,voters,whose day is long past.

There are only 12 solitary souls in the Donegal Gaeltacht who are interested in the Provos and even less in other Gaeltachta. Most seem to be poets, dramaturgs and broadcasters eking out a meagre existence with writings in Belfast 'Irish'.

If,as I suspect,gambling and card-sharping is how young naifs are drawn into both the Provos and the mafia,why so?

Why?

Because cardsharps such as the Germans and English test the unwary stranger to cheat him out of his earnings. The IRA use it to gain youthful recruits as do the mafia since it inducts youth in stealing from both their parents and the better-off.

Why?

Those countries and the US are chronic gambling societies.

Say to someone in those societies or gunmen,"Skat!"

Someone else who is an even bigger fool and clown than the cardsharp has put them up to their nefarious activities. That other person will inevitably get his comeuppance in this country since he will be universally hated and reviled by person,parson and policeman as a liar and a thief. In Ireland he is younger than the victim of his childish and immoral behaviour and in Germany,an escaped criminal,child beater or rapist.

Irish,German, Russian,Italian and American nationalism are remarkably similar though with a different emphasis. A tout is a weak and pathetic sort of fool who ends up drinking himself to death. He is a fickle sort of creature,a straw in the wind who like the biblical Jew is a wanderer between sky and cloud. However,he can be dangerous so here are my reflections from a lifetime of experience and untoward advances by these pricks..... A spy or false witness usually acts on his own volition and is interested,inter alia, in  what you listen to on the radio or watch on television. He is a sociopath who likes to alter outcomes and he gets money from the police for telling them such information.The police have the power to influence broadcasting content and schedules. It's MONEY which motivates the hound most.  Sometimes,a country  informer operates remotely by telephoning or through a neighbour but he will stop visiting and calling if you DO NOT ANSWER THE TELEPHONE...
