Inclination?

Inclination or basic, rudimentary intelligence or knowledge such as how to discern a paid informer in their ranks. They have to go to the police or someone such as Phyllis Bateson of MI 5 for that.

Leanings?

Yes,last but not least,any leanings towards Christianity or the fruit of the True Vine,the carpenter's Son. The fruit of Jesus's teaching is mercy just as I spared the 'Loughgall' informer, Martin Mc Manus, and Mayne and eleven or twelve others connected to those who cheerfully described themselves as 'civil servants'.
