Decay in the North of Ireland

Is it just me or do I see many good or socially marginal (but basically sound) families falling by the wayside,many into drugs, thuggery, hooliganism and crime and drunkenness and brawling or was was there always a lax attitude to parental discipline...I think that it is just a question of getting older but,then again,I wonder if "these proud republican families" and those referred to by political bit-players as " widely respected families" ever amounted to very much and the matter goes to the very core of those,not all of them,who took up arms against the state and authorities in the North of Ireland not so long ago...I think, perhaps,that the people who I associated with in the past are slipping off their trolleys into drunken degeneracy to some extent and that even worse is to come because of fashionable notions about stripping away the social and economic fabric of society which began with the Brookings Institute and Adam Smith Institute and were the products of schizoid and narrow-minded philistines who could not see their bizarre doctrines would ruin their countries and destroy Western civilisation apart from a few isolated pockets of peoples and nations who were coming into their own and were completely appalled by Thatcher...

Nationalism and dictatorship vs. socialism and realism

Irish,German, Russian,Italian and American nationalism are remarkably similar though with a different emphasis. German nationalism is distinguished by supremacist notions formed between 1847 and 1883. American nationalism with its disastrous imperialist outworkings is only now being overcome. Irish nationalism is tinged with a definite  unity of belief in faith and Irish Unity. A tout is a weak and pathetic sort of fool who ends up drinking himself to death. He is a fickle sort of creature,a straw in the wind who like the biblical Jew is a wanderer between sky and cloud. However,he can be dangerous so here are my reflections from a lifetime of experience and untoward advances by these pricks..... A spy or false witness usually acts on his own volition and is interested,inter alia, in  what you listen to on the radio or watch on television. He is a sociopath who likes to alter outcomes and he gets money from the police for telling them such information.The police have the power to influence broadcasting content and schedules. It's MONEY which motivates the hound most.  Sometimes,a country  informer operates remotely by telephoning or through a neighbour but he will stop visiting and calling if you DO NOT ANSWER THE TELEPHONE... Say "Skat!" Sometimes, he may arrive at your door the next day to tell you that he was "concerned" about you. ...
