Dublin,1913. Collaborative collective bargaining
In 1990-1992 I wrote the draft of Conor Kostick's plagiarised piece of literature, Revolution in Ireland 1913-1923.
In those years of transformation and change everywhere,I failed to accept mediation in labour affairs or to accept how in 1913 labour and Irish capital buried the hatchet to some extent and a revolutionary-democratic process began which eventually gave rise to collaborative collective bargaining. The consensus or agreed bargaining and mediation process eased Ireland's path to reasonable working class prosperity and minimal standards of social provision.
There may still be 'the little old lady upstairs' dropping weights on the floor during the hours of darkness in shared accommodation where radical journalists lodge, however. That occurs at the instigation of balls of shit like Garda Det. Chief Inspector Pat Harte, Garda Chief Superintendent Dave Taylor and headbangers in Enniskillen and Lisnaskea Police Stations.
Are these sweepings of the gutter not to be found in every police force in the world?
In Northern Ireland their recent activities were ordered by the those who served mass murderer Tony Blair. He was elected to be "tough on crime and the causes of crime" by English halfwits and bar-room philosophers.
Therefore we say,for our own safety we must avoid rising to the bait or injure our neighbours as armed gangs modelled on the Sicilian mafia have done in our country.

The lessons of the past, socialist and national democrat
James Connolly was the first leader of the IRA in 1916. He was opposed by Sinn Fein's stay-at-home Arthur Griffith.
British radicalism and civil rights. The Orange Order
There can be no duplicity from any politician born after the passage of the Bill of Rights 1689. Their activities and those of the police and loyalist vigilantees must be strictly controlled. These criminals must be carefully monitored if we are to avoid civil unrest and social disorder. The breakdown of order could lead to political collapse in the immediate future.
The lesson of the Orange State and a police state down South
Where there is no political freedom, there is no technical innovation or economic progress or sufficiency.
Who has police tyranny brought to prominence, other than Sinn Fein?
Northerners, have nothing to do with political bumflies such as Sinn Fein. In the North, their children receive an education which is denied to many in the South.
The thinking man's approach?
VOTE LABOUR!
If the mentally handicapped want to vote, let them vote for those bar-room philosophers and the dregs of society in Sinn Fein. You will always find imposters, gullible fools and uneducated louts who vote for them and Tories wherever you go,not just in Ireland, but anywhere in the world.
Other parties?
My well-honed experience?
AVOID idiots such as Richard Boyd-Barret. Likewise,Mary-Lou Mc Donald. Don't vote for those individuals if you don't want their clientele, the dregs of society following you up the street for the duration of the legislative term. Avoid politicians who are trying to pull the wool over your eyes at election time. Most of Sinn Fein's representatives have never done a real day's work and their real vocation is ordering people about in much the same way as the RUC/ PSNI and British Army.

Britain in Ireland? Permanent change?
It would be disingenuous to deny the great truth that all things must pass including our planet and the Solar System. Chaos and order prevail in harmony and in disunity.
As a progressing country,Catholic corporatism reviled English politicians such as that greedy,tight-fisted woman known contemptuously as Maggie. Her fellow travellers pursued a part-consensus,part- pacification policy in Ireland.
Britain's chattering classes focus on conflict and conflicts. What Ireland thrives on is agreement and consensus.
My hackneyed old phrases about a Continental southern model and a Northern European conflict model being the rule do not hold water in our times.
The future? The recent serious fracas?
Churchill sums things up best post-Troubles,"Jaw-jaw is better than war-war."
Try as some might to turn back the tide,it is a case of "Goodbye, Northern Ireland!"

But,I digress...
What is the proper approach to collaborative and collective bargaining? Ireland and Britain and internationally?
Firstly, consensus in some countries and in others disagreement and conflict or strike action.
Secondly,it is no mystery, discussion on how to get the labour task completed more cost-effectively and worker-employer cooperation in difficult situations requiring great technical skill and high levels of mental effort. I am referring to scientific and technical innovation.
Britain?
No matter how you approach work or employment, there is not always an easy answer or ready solution, particularly where people are being overworked and underpaid.
