 O Bradaigh,the first President of the Provisional party did not have much to commend him-he was a bloodthirsty maniac-but he put the Blueshirts out of Roscommon because he knew who they were and where they lived and all about their activities with both male and female prostitutes and the clergy who put them up to their foolish activities.

However,when he died his mad Doomsday scenario plans soon unravelled and the stockpiles of guns were sold off.

He was never anything other than De Valera's legman and the Irish Army's agent along the Border.
