 High-rises should not be built out of public money nor should planning permission be granted for these buildings as dwellings. We are stupid people-and Aodhan O Riordain is typical of the type-if we think that we can avoid the social problems associated with these buildings. I consider O Riordain to be an fool  who has bought into fashionable ecological notions about land use. He thinks that normal existence is possible in such buildings and unlicensed fire-traps.
